Abstract
In order to explore shock resistance of a military catamaran,finite element model of a typical catamaran structure was established using ANSYS software.Based on the shock wave pressure calculation method of the Geers and Hunter Model,interaction between the structure and the underwater impact loading was simulated and calculated using acoustic-structure coupling method in ABAQUS.Also the time-domain response of the typical structure of military catamaran subjected to the impact loading under design operation condition was obtained and the shock characteristics were analyzed.The strength analysis of the typical structure on the catamaran demonstrates that the anti-shock weak link is determined by the hull configuration.
