Accelerating the Realization of Ship＇s Operational Capability by Implementing Supportability Engineering

This paper introduces the definition and implication of supportability engineering, and analyzes the mission and process of supportability engineering during each period of the life cycle of a ship. And then puts forward the six step approach to implement supportability engineering. At last, this paper suggests some advices on how to implement supportability engineering on ships.
