Abstract
Objectives Based on the problem of limited installation space of ship communication devices and low communication efficiency caused by interference signals from other equipment, a miniaturized low-coupling broadband MIMO antenna was proposed. Methods The front of the antenna adopts a combination of rectangular and semicircular shapes, and it is chamfered; Porous parasitic patches and DGS(Defected Ground Structure)are introduced on the back of the antenna for decoupling, and the overall dimensions are 30mm×24mm×1.6mm. By etching the inverted U-shaped slit on the radiation patch, the notch of the satellite C-band uplink band (5.925~6.425GHz) is realized. Results The simulation and test results show that the antenna works in the frequency band of 2.95~20GHz, the isolation degree is greater than 19dB, the maximum is 40dB, and the envelope correlation coefficient ECC is < 0.005. Conclusions The proposed MIMO antenna has the characteristics of miniaturization, wide frequency band and low coupling, and the simulation and measurement results are good, and can be widely used in shipborne wireless communication equipment.
