Compartment subdivision and stability analysis based on T-splines

    目的 研究基于T样条的船舶舱室建模与稳性分析方法,旨在提升船舶初步设计阶段舱室划分的灵活性与稳性分析效率。
    方法 首先,基于T样条几何建模理论,构建舱室参数化控制模型;然后,通过Rhino & Grasshopper平台与GhPython脚本以及T-splines插件实现船壳建模、舱室自动划分与仿真联动,使用牛顿迭代法进行浮态计算;最后,以50 000 DWT油船为例进行船型建模、舱壁可视化划分以及GZ曲线计算。
    结果 结果显示,相对误差小于1%,精度符合工程要求。
    结论 研究表明,T样条船型的建模与分析方法具备较强的工程适应性和扩展性,适于在初步设计阶段快速评估多方案的稳性表现,具有良好的工程推广前景。

     

    Abstract:
    Objectives The ship compartment modelling and performance analysis method based on T-splines is investigated in order to improve the flexibility and efficiency during the primary design stage.
    Method Firstly the parametric controlling model of compartments is constructed. Secondly the automatic division and simulation linkage is achieved by Rhino & Grasshopper platform with GhPython script and the T-splines plugin. The floatation solution is carried out by using Newton's iterative method , and the stability analysis method with the free surface correction is adopted.
    Results Taking a 50 000 DWT oil tanker as example, hull is modelling and the visual division of bulkheads and the calculation accuracy of GZ curve meet the engineering requirements with an error less than 1%.
    Conclusions The results indicate that parametric modelling based on T-spline technology and analysis method has strong engineering adaptability and extensibility, which is suitable for rapid assessment of stability performance of multi-schemes at the preliminary design stage, and has a good prospect of engineering application.
