A SEA Model for Self-noise Induced by Sonar Cavity Based on the Average Admittance

  • A computing model for the self-noise due to sonar cavity is established by using SEA method. The model is a combination of a circular cylinder and circular plate to resemble the sonar dome. The emphases are put on the calculation of input power form the turbulent boundary layer to the sonar dome and SEA parameters. A detailed example is given to validate the model. Therefore, this paper can be useful for further discussions on such problems.
