Concept configuration of hull protective bulkhead based on TRIZ theory

  •   Objectives  Explosive shock wave and fragment are main factors considered in ship protective bulkhead design. Aimed to find an effective method for generation the concept configuration of hull protective bulkhead,
      Methods  the method of conflict analysis which belongs to TRIZ theory was used to acquire the characterization of technical Contradictions inside concept generation of hull protective bulkhead configuration. By using the Solution of technical contradiction belongs to TRIZ theory and of impact dynamic knowledge,
      Results  eight hull protective bulkhead concept patterns were designed, all of which can simultaneously defense shock wave and fragment loading. Then the general construction principle which can be used in hull protective bulkhead design was discussed.
      Conclusions  The results can provide useful reference to the design and related research on hull protective bulkhead structures.
