Analysis of Structural Acoustic Radiation Using Acoustic Power Modes

  • Modal analysis of structural and control method of acoustic radiation from a vibrating structure were discussed using acoustic power modes.The relationship between radiated acoustic power and exciting force was obtai ned based on the quadratic form of the acoustic power and the Rayleigh integral.Then the acoustic power was expressed directly by the exciting force as the variable.To structural acoustic radiation of plate as an examp le,analyzed the modal shapes of the acoustic power modes,computing acoustic power by the truncated acoustic power modes.And discussed the acoustic radiation control method of structure based on acoustic power modes.The merits of the acoustic power mode were presented by comparison with structural vibration mode and acoustic radiation mode.
