CFD simulation and comparison analysis of a new type high-speed boat

  • The high-speed boat has the advantages of small volume, high-speed, and intelligent control, which can complete search and rescue, detection, navigation, combat, and other tasks, and it has been widely applied in military and civilian fields. Particularly, studying the rapidity performance of high-speed boat is of vital importance for the boat design and analysis of fluid dynamics performance. In this paper, a new type of high-speed boat is presented, whose hydrodynamic performance is analyzed and compared with different high-speed boats through numerical simulation in NUMECA software. The results show that hydrofoil and splash-proof strip can improve the lift force of the boat, helping the boat enter the planing state faster. Moreover, it is seen that the gliding-hydrofoil craft with splash-proof strip has good resistance performance.
