船舶碰撞仿真失效准则比较

A comparative study of failure criteria in ship collision simulations

  • 摘要: 失效准则作为判定结构失效的依据,对船舶碰撞仿真分析的准确性有着重要影响。基于3种典型舷侧结构缩尺模型的准静态耐撞性试验,采用等效塑性应变准则、主应变—厚度应变准则以及RTCL(Rice-Tracey & Cockcroft-Latham)准则对模型试验进行数值模拟,比较各准则对裂纹产生的模拟效果,讨论3种准则计算的极限撞深和吸能值与试验的误差。研究结果表明,3种准则均能取得满足工程需要的仿真精度,但相对于等效塑性应变准则和主应变—厚度应变准则, 引入应力三轴度的RTCL准则能更准确地模拟不同结构的裂纹产生过程。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, the simulation of indentation tests on a set of scaled models is carried out with the finite element method. Three different criteria, the equivalent plastic strain criterion, principal strain-through thickness strain criterion, and RTCL (Rice-Tracey & Cockcroft-Latham) criterion, are employed to simulate the onset of fractures on ship side structures. Then, the penetration depth, absorbed energy, and the location of initial failure simulated under different criteria are compared with the experimental results. It is shown that the RTCL criterion, which takes the stress state into consideration by introducing the stress triaxiality, demonstrates better performance in terms of predicting the location of fracture. In brief, this paper provides references for finite element analysis of the structural response during ship collision and grounding.
