Control Strategy Study on Multi-Phase Induction Motor for one DC Amplitude-Voltage Power System

  • For the traditional DC motor with commutator in submarines' DC power supply system have obvious disadvantages in operation and maintenance,an alternative scheme was proposed which applying integrated multi-phase inverter and induction motor.The scheme is not only able to eliminate harmonics in motor by multi-phase principle,but also saves the volume of equipment and improves the reliability.Focusing on the voltage adverse influence on the driving system of the batteries,the Special Harmonics Elimination(SHE) PWM technique was introduced to stabilize the output voltage.A numerical model of dual Y shifted 30° induction motor with inverter wass built up.The analysis results show that the starting process,voltage stabilization and pulsing torque were improved dramatically.This control strategy is suitable for a variety of auxiliary mechanical driving devices which focused on high reliability and stability in submarine.
