Abstract: In order to enhance the quality and the cost effectiveness of ship maintenance,the requirement as to applying a sound set of rationales and scientific reasoning on the individual tendering project of maintenance is of significance to the ship operators.As this assessment is more likely to focus on overall planning and sustainable maintenance,so a series of indices for the assessment model were put forward,and the weight of each index was determined by the Analytical Hierarchy Process（AHP）.Base on this,fuzzy comprehensive assessment method was used to minimize the impact of subjective factors,resulting in a more accurate and definite outcome.TThis model was validated by an actual assessment.
