静压作用下夹芯复合材料圆柱壳失效模式的有限元分析

Finite element analysis of the failure mode of composite sandwich cylinders subjected to hydrostatic pressure

  • 摘要: 基于有限元计算软件ABAQUS,对静水压力作用下夹芯复合材料圆柱壳的失效模式进行研究。首先,采用ABAQUS的材料库和单元库,建立高效、精确的夹芯复合材料圆柱壳的仿真计算方法;进而,基于TSAIW理论、Hashin理论和第四强度理论,分别建立表层材料和芯材的强度失效判据;最后,分析跨度/半径比、表层/芯材厚度比、内/外表层厚度比以及铺层角度等因素对圆柱壳失效模式的影响规律,可为夹芯复合材料圆柱壳的结构优化设计提供依据。

     

    Abstract: This paper investigates the failure mode of composite sandwich cylinders subjected to hydrostatic pressure based on ABAQUS software. Firstly, an effective and accurate simulation method is presented using the material and element library of ABAQUS software. Then, separated strength failure criteria for the outer and core material are built referring to TSAIW, Hashin theories, and the fourth strength theory. Finally, influencing factors such as L/R, t/h, t1/t2 and layup angles are analyzed, and the specific effects they exert on cylinders' failure mode are obtained, thus providing the foundation for the optimal design of composite sandwich cylinders.
