Design and simulation of cascaded energy-frequency selective surfaces

  • 摘要: 针对空间场强电磁防护中带外滤波—带内限幅的需求,研究了能量—频率选择表面级联复合的防护方法,设计出一种典型的防护结构,通过时域有限差分对防护结构进行了稳态和瞬态分析,尤其是不同情况下频率选择表面与能量选择表面的相互耦合。计算结果表明:该防护结构对通带内正常信号的传输衰减小于1.55 dB,强电磁脉冲传输衰减大于20 dB,因而其既能阻止强电磁脉冲进入系统,又可有效抑制带外电磁干扰。

     

    Abstract: Considering the requirement of spatial electromagnetic protection in the case of high intensity field, the out-band filtering and the in-band limiting strategy is implemented through cascaded design with energy-frequency selective surfaces. To verify the method, a typical protection structure is designed. Using the finite different time domain method, both the steady state and transient state are simulated. The coupling effect between the energy selective surface and frequency selective surface are analyzed. The results show that when a wave with low field intensity impinges, the insertion loss is reduced below 1.55 dB; when the high intensity field radiates, the transmission loss is reduced below 20 dB, which can protect the system against intense electromagnetic interference effectively.
